Eligibility
Lineal: Available through right of descent from Nicolas Martiau through daughters Elizabeth, Mary or Sarah. Elizabeth married Col. George Reade. Mary married Col. John Scar(s)brook. Sarah married Capt. William Fuller.
Auxiliary: Available for spouse, friend, history buff, or descendant not wishing to complete the Lineal application form. (Non-voting rights)
Membership Procedures
Print Membership Instructions and Preliminary Lineal & Auxiliary Membership Application from the links listed immediately below. Mail the completed Preliminary Membership Application form and application fee to the Treasurer at the address supplied on the form. The Registrar will send application instructions to Lineal applicants. All generations are to be completed with documentation. Note: You may use a copy of an approved membership from a heredity group where you have established lineage from Nicolas Martiau. Upon approval you will be issued a national number. A certificate suitable for framing will be sent, along with a newsletter and membership booklet.
Note: In order to print NMDA membership documents you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you have trouble printing the membership forms you may download a free copy of the program.
